John –
As a Founder, I rely on my Pitch Deck, to help me raise a lot of money. (fast).
Investors need concise and well thought out decks, so that they can evaluate my company quickly. I have spent a LOT of time developing my pitch deck, and this course has helped me immensely. I’ve refined core ideas and developed strategic thinking as result of this training.
I highly encourage new (or aspiring) Founder, wanting to raise capital, to take this course.

I don’t feel I have learnt enough about how VC’s consider the market in their choice to invest or not. Furthermore, the examples are still the same for a large part.

Hey Madjid, I guess it’s the way the course works: you take a half-dozen startup pitch decks and drill through them all the way. I found it effective. Just my two cents.

chercher le marché, le quantifier, le structurer permet parfois de pivoter sur des solutions inattendues ce n’est pas un exercice basique. ce cours fut vraiment interpellant.

What I enjoyed most about this section is that I learnt many common practices for sizing the market which I had never heard of.
There is a lot of content in this section but this online course still manages to keep it simple and concise while explaining all the important points.

Good course helping to undesrtant the words we need to emply in front of VC in terms of market.
I really appreciate the TAM SAM SOM definition as I was looking for something like this in my last writings.

Very dense course, what I found illuminating was the explanation on how VCs make money, really helps to understand why they need to go after large markets. Also good to have both sides of the table (e.g. on the 1% market share issue) so we can adapt.

Finally some explanation of the inherent contradictions of what different VCs want you to present in your market page. Some hate the 1% rule, others don’t mind, but at least now we know why VCs want us to tackle large markets.

Market sizing was one of the hardest parts for me to do for the final project. The unit clearly walks us through the most efficient approach to estimate the size of the market opportunity.

It’s very hard to find the right method to present the market, finally an approach to do it! How many “coach” thinks how to do a pitchdeck but it’s wrong … finally real advice with Tytchme 🙂
